She has already completed shooting Woody Allen’s ‘You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger’ opposite Josh Brolin and Naomi Watts, and Israeli film ‘Miral’ under Julian Schnabel’ direction where she plays the lead role.





Now, she has bagged in yet another project where she will play the role of a Greek priestess in War of the Gods. The film, about the Greek mythology, will be directed by Tarsem Singh and begins production in April. The film will be produced by Gianni Nunnari of Hollywood Gang Prods, Mark Canton of Atmosphere Entertainment and Relativity topper Ryan Kavanaugh.



The movie deals with the story of a young warrior Theseus who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods to defeat evil and the powerful elder gods of the Titans in order to save mankind. Freida here plays Phaedra, an oracle priestess joins Theseus to prevent the cataclysmic war from erupting.

Hollywood Actress Freida Pinto seems to have become hot property

After being voted amongst the top 100 most beautiful people by People magazine, everything related to Freida Pinto seems to have become hot property. While shooting for 'Slumdog Millionaire', Pinto had done a sizzling video titled, 'I Promise You' in which she plays Canadian singer and composer Dal Hothi's love interest.
The video has been making waves of late, having got over 25,000 on YouTube and Hothi promises he'll be officially releasing the song and video throughout Asia within a month.
That's not all. Speaking to HT City from Canada, Hothi, who is of Indian origin, reveals that the video's popularity has done him good. 'Right now, I am in talks with some big Bollywood producers about putting the song in a Bollywood film', he said.
Hothi adds that he was never aware that the girl who shot for his video was the lead actress in Slumdog... 'Freida had mentioned she was filming Slumdog at the time, but I did not know that she played the lead in the movie. 'It was only when the hype around the film started that Hothi decided to release it officially, days before the Oscars. 'Initially, I thought Freida was just a small player in the movie. It was only later that I realised that she was the star of Slumdog...'








While some people have accused the video of being way too hot, Hothi, who awaits Freida's response to the video, defends, 'Bollywood films have more explicit sex scenes'.

Pinto was photographed nestling into Patel's shoulder during a cosy al fresco lunch date. The actress is shooting her latest film, Miral, in Israel and Patel has flown out to see her.

Rumours of a relationship began shortly before Slumdog Millionaire swept the board at the Oscars in February. Pinto, 24, and Patel, who turned 19 this week, denied they were an item, but their cover was blown by co-star Anil Kapoor. "When I meet them, I feel there is something happening," he said, adding that the couple shared "a magical chemistry".

Pinto's ex, Rohan Antao, blamed Patel for their relationship breakdown. "I don't know if they were having a sexual relationship but if I came face to face with him I would have things to say. Now everywhere I go I see them on billboards. I am devastated," he said.

The lovebirds come from very different backgrounds - Pinto is a glamorous former model from Mumbai, while Patel still lives with his mum in Harrow. It was Mrs Patel who persuaded her son to audition for his debut role in the E4 drama Skins, in which he played a sex-mad teenager.











Slumdog Millionaire has propelled both actors to Hollywood stardom. After Miral, Pinto will film a role in Woody Allen's next film, while Patel has been cast in M Night Shyamalan adventure The Last Airbender.

Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto may become the new Bond girl

Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto may become the new Bond girl in the next spy adventure. According to sources, the 24-year-old stunner was invited to a screen test for the 007 movie.

The actress was first spotted by producers during the casting for Quantum of Solace. And following Danny Boyle's Slumdog's awards success she has become the hottest property in Hollywood. Freida could follow in the footsteps of other Bond babes.

"Freida came to the attention of the Bond team when they were casting Quantum of Solace. She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent," The 'Sun' quoted a source, as saying.

"But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig's arm.
