Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor recently organised a surprise birthday bash for her family doctor. "Bebo (as she is fondly called) is very fond of Dr Agarwal. She took time out from her busy schedule and threw him a nice party. She herself made every phone call and invited people," said a source close the actress.

The source added: "Dr. Agarwal was unaware of the surprise party and was flattered. He was very happy."







Guests who made it to the event included Tusshar Kapoor, Shabina Khan, Kareena's mother Babita and sister Karisma Kapoor among others.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor denies the rumours - producer

Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Says, "I have no intentions to turn a producer. The rumours are baseless. There is no truth to it," the actor said in a statement.

A source close to Kareena echoed this, adding: "Kareena is committed to several projects and is going to be neck deep in work for another two years. So where is the time to launch her own production house?"

Rumours were rife that Kareena was to launch her own production banner with the first film to be a romantic comedy directed by her close friend and director Lovely Singh of 'Kyaa Love Story Hai' fame. Kareena was to play the lead.

It also raised speculation that her real life beau Saif Ali Khan would star opposite her in the film.

However, the source maintained: "Kareena hails from the RK family and with the prestigious RK banner with her, why would Kareena launch an independent production house?

Wedding bells may not be that far away for actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor as the two are contemplating marriage sooner than the three-four-year target they had set earlier. ’Oh yes, much sooner. In fact, people may be hearing an announcement from us very soon. If I had my way, I’d marry her today right here in London where she’s joined me,’ Saif told over phone.

’Yes, I’m ready to make it legal any time. In any case, aren’t we supposed to have gone through a secret Muslim marriage?’ he says sarcastically about certain media reports. Saif was married to Amrita Singh and after 13 years of marriage and two children, the couple separated in 2004. After he divorced Amrita, he dated Italian model Rosa Catalano, but broke up with her in 2007.

The romance between Saif and Kareena took off on the sets of ’Tashan’. And Saif has never sounded so fiercely committed. ’If I’m sounding that way, it’s because that’s how I feel. With due respects to all the other relationships in life, after my marriage to Amrita and my two kids, this is the most important relationship I’ve had.’

Saif can barely contain his anxiety and eagerness to do the right thing. ’Of course, I’m anxious. You must understand this is the most important part of my life... so much so that at times I find even my career taking a backseat tomy relationship.

I’ve to guard against that. I must quickly learn to separate the professional from the personal.’ Saif admits it would take his children Sarah and Ibrahim a while to get used to the changes in their dad’s life.

’I’m not going to pretend that my children, Kareena and I have become one big family. They’re intelligent kids with a mind of their own. Sarah is in fact 13 and a lady herself. It would be quite a while before they are fully comfortable with the change in my life.

’They haven’t spent that much time with Kareena to know her as well as I do. But the good thing is everyone close to me realises that this relationship is for keeps, that I’ve never been more serious. Now it’s entirely up to me and Kareena to take the relationship to the next level.’

’Of course, I want to be with her as much as I can. My regret is we can’t be together more often.

We are uncannily similar people and I’ve only now begun to understand why I need to be with her constantly. She complements me, as I hope I complement her. So of course, I try to be where she is.’

He dislikes people intruding into his personal life and says: ’I understand people want to put our relationship under a microscope. They want to know about our relationship. But there’s only so much that they can know or perceive. What Kareena and I feel for each other, only the two of us know.’

Kareena Kapoor has been dropped from director Imtiaz Ali’s next film

If the rumors in the industry circles are to be believed, despite here resounding success during 2007, especially ‘Jab We Met’, and hiked performance price, Kareena Kapoor has been dropped from director Imtiaz Ali’s next film.

Rejecting Kareena for a role in his film, Imtiyaz Ali has chosen the currently hot Bollywood glamour girl Deepika Padukone for the film.

Worse still, in a recent interview, director Imtiyz Ali has told a magazine that he had taken Kareena Kapoor for ‘Jab We Met’ even without liking the actress’ acting qualities and he stressed that Kareena is not a good actress at all.

Incidentally, Imtiaz Ali, who was the director of ‘Jab We Met’, has even ignored the recommendations of Saif Ali Khan the hero of his next untitled film, and rejected his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor to opt for Deepika Padukone.

More interestingly, Saif Ali Khan is not only the hero of the film, but it is going to be Saif's first film production!

Sources said that Saif Ali Khan had recommended Kareena Kapoor for their new film, but the director rejected Saif’s pleas.

Going by the standards in Bollywood, this is something significant as normally the directors seldom have the guts to ignore the requests of the hero and more so when he is also the producer of the movie.

But many here would want to know if the director would have the same guts to reject a request either by Shah Rukh Khan or Aameer Khan!

Kareena Kapoor: Bollywood starlet Kareena Kapoor has confirmed that her three-year relationship with actor Shahid Kapur is over, ending weeks of speculation about her romantic life, a newspaper reported Friday.

"Let's not associate Shahid and Kareena only with love," she told the Times of India.Unlike many Bollywood actors who try to keep their personal lives private, the former lovebirds often discussed their relationship with reporters. Kapoor said she will never do that again.
