The promos of the film show her in just one shot while Salman and Ajay have a larger share of it. Now, a disappointed Asin makes it a point to let producer-director Vipul Shah know about her displeasure.
"When Asin learnt that she was hardly a part of the first theatrical promo of the film, she spoke to Vipul. Asin is very eager to see the response of the audience, especially since this will be her first release after Ghajini which was the biggest hit of last year. However, she was very disappointed with the promos. Vipul explained to her that since it is the story of two friends, he needed to have more of Salman and Ajay in the first promo. However, Asin was far from convinced and is sulking," a Mumbai daily quoted a source as saying.
When Vipul Shah was contacted by the daily, he clarified that Asin was not sidelined and expressed hope that other promos of the film would set things fine. "All I want to say is that this is just the first teaser of the film. Please don't be in a hurry to judge anybody's importance and let me say clearly that Asin is a very important part of my film. Let some other promos release and everything will be fine. I am aware that this is Asin's first release after 'Ghajini' and the expectations are huge.
