Anushka has agreed to play Telugu version of Billa with bikini-act for Rs 1 crore

'Billa', starring Ajit and Nayantara, is now being remade in Telugu with Prabhas as the hero. The film was a superhit in 2007.

Sensuous Anushka has agreed to play Nayantara’s daring bikini-act for a whopping fee of Rs 1 crore. With this, Anushka has become the second actress after Ileana to reach the Rs 1 crore mark in Tollywood.




'Billa', directed by Vishnuvardhan, was shot extensively in Malaysia. Audiences lapped up the razor-sharp cinematography, background music and the actors’ sleek looks.

The producers of the Telugu version are planning to film the movie in a similar manner.

Anushka, whose recent performance in 'Baladoor' had male hearts racing, has acted in her one and only Tamil film 'Rendu' opposite Madhavan, which didn’t make much of an impact at the box-office.
